CALLING ALL VILLAGE BUILDERS

It will take many hands and hearts combined to build our Woven Wild Village and we are inviting all who wish to help nourish the roots and bones of this gathering to apply to support us in making this event a truly special one! This kind of gathering and celebration would not be possible without the support of kindred volunteers and we are deeply appreciative for the time and energy of all who would like to volunteer.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for enthusiastic contributors who are keen to offer their energy and support to the Woven Wild Village and be part of the team that keeps the wheels of the gathering in smooth motion. We are seeking individuals with varied strengths to support the multidimensional aspects of the gathering, as well as those that can be flexible and take initiative. The volunteer team will be an intimate group, so you will likely have a number of different roles and responsibilities and be activated with a 'can do' attitude. All volunteers must be over 18. Members of our volunteer team will be required to be on site for the duration of the festival and approximately 24 hours of work in exchange for their ticket. This work exchange will be completed over 6 days.

THE OPTIONS OF EXCHANGE ARE:

6 days with set up support Wednesday 17th - Monday 22nd
6 days with pack down support Thursday 18th- Tuesday 23rd

Please only consider applying if you are able to make the full time commitment. All volunteers are required to be onsite and ready to attend a meeting at 10am on the day they have agreed to start. As a volunteer, your energy exchange will be a 3-4 hour shift each day, with the rest of the time free to enjoy the gathering and workshops.

I'M A MUM, CAN I VOLUNTEER WITH MY CHILD?

We recognise that in a village, mothers with young children have higher needs than those without. For this reason we have set up the gathering to support the mother's with younger children through our Mother Nest as well as having volunteers on site to assist you in setting up and packing down your camp. If you are intending to volunteer, we ask that you do not apply if you have a young child with you. Mothers who have older children that are independent and able to be away from you for hours at a time are welcome to apply. Please specify if you have children who are also attending and their ages in the application. Please note that children's tickets will not be included in the volunteer exchange.

WHEN WILL I HEAR IF I HAVE A SPOT?
Applications will be processed within 4 weeks so you will know if you have a volunteer role before tickets go on sale. If you do not receive a volunteer position, you will be added to a wait-list, whereby you will be notified via email if you have been offered a spot!
Please note, if you have been waitlisted and then receive an offer, you will need to confirm your volunteer role within 3 days of an offer being sent.

WHATS INCLUDED IN THE EXCHANGE?

• A ticket to the Woven Wild - A Wisdom Keepers Gathering 2025

• Standard car parking

• Camping

• Catered breakfast, lunch and dinner during the gathering

Meals before and after the gathering, on set up and pack down days are not included in the exchange.
Please note that the car park area is separate from the camping area. If you require car or van camping, there will be a limited number of car passes available at extra cost.

DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
Yes! All successful volunteers will be required to pay a $50 non-refundable deposit to confirm your commitment to the role upon acceptance. An additional $200 deposit is required to be paid by the 30th April to secure your place. If you are unable to pay this, your role will be forfeited and will be offered to another volunteer. The total deposit of $250 will be returned to you in full after your role at the gathering has been completed.

WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
Having a financial deposit is our way of ensuring a genuine commitment to the Woven Wild Gathering as well as to the volunteer team as a whole. It is an invitation for you to rise and shine in accountability, leadership, communication and teamwork. It also greatly helps us at Woven Wild design a strong and smoothly choreographed functionality where every volunteer is doing their bit!

If you are unable to attend please give us as much notice as possible so that we can find another person to fill your position.

CANCELLATION BEFORE 1ST JULY: Full refund of $200 (Please note the commitment fee of $50 is non-refundable.)
CANCELLATION BEFORE 15TH AUGUST: Partial refund of $100 (Please note the commitment fee of $50 is non-refundable.)
CANCELLATION AFTER 15TH AUGUST: No refund offered​​​​
