Wild Blossoms & Wildlings
WILD BLOSSOMS - A space for young maidens aged 11-17
In many earth-based cultures around the world, the shift from childhood to young womanhood is a time of celebration and honouring. However in today's western world, this time in a young women’s life is often met fear and trepidation, and girls are often taught to hide, sanitise, shrink and carry on. At Woven Wild, we feel passionate about offering a different imprint. One where we remember that this time is a sacred threshold, a rite of passage to be honoured with deep reverence, playful joy, and grounded guidance.
The Maiden’s space will be anchored in ancestral traditions, community mentorship, and connection to the natural world, to honour and support our young women step into their emerging self with confidence, clarity, and a knowing of their belonging.

Through ceremony, storytelling, and nature connection, we invite girls to:
-
Cultivate deep trust and reverence for their bodies
-
Befriend the power awakening within their changing bodies
-
Learn to trust their intuition and inner knowing
-
Build confidence, creativity, and resilience
-
Experience sisterhood, safety, and shared wisdom
-
Feel their connection to the Earth, the cycles, self and community
Wild Blossom’s is a space that is grounded in heart —
A sweet remembering that our bodies are wise, our rhythms are powerful, and we never have to walk alone.
This is a powerful experience for girls on the cusp of/moving through or recently moved through puberty, to honour her menarche.

What's on offer for the Maidens?

With over 30 years of experience in mind, body, and spirit healing, I’ve enjoyed being in service and supporting others on their path to wellness. For the past decade, I’ve worked with children in the bush, guiding deep nature connection, and with women and young women, supporting wellbeing through connection to the natural world and their cycles. My work weaves together intuitive care, nature-based practices, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey.

Anna May is passionate about supporting teenage girls, as they move through the transition of menarche with love, ease, and empowerment. With a background in education, menstrual wisdom and rites of passage work — and mentored by Jane Hardwicke Collings and Nature Philosophy — she weaves together ancient traditions with a modern understanding that reflects today's society and heartbeat. At the Woven Wild Gathering, Anna will co-facilitate the Maiden Space, a nurturing, girl-led sanctuary offering ancestral crafts, soulful conversations, and a special rite-of-passage-style gathering. Her deepest hope is that each girl leaves with a stronger sense of inner knowing and the confidence to walk into womanhood feeling right in her body and powerful in her truth. WILDLINGS - A Sacred Grove for Our Little Ones

Within the living tapestry of Woven Wild, the Wildings Space is a gentle sanctuary crafted especially for children. A heart-led haven where the rhythms of nature, creative play, and ancestral crafts come alive under the trees and open sky.

What's on offer for the Wildlings:
-
Here, our little ones are invited to remember their place in the wild world through hands-on earth crafting, guided bushland explorations, story circles, and the magic of unstructured free play in nature.
-
Rooted in the philosophies of forest and bush schools, the Wildings Space honours the innate wisdom of childhood and nurtures this sacred time in a child’s life.
-
Children aged 3–10 are welcome to be dropped off during session times.
-
Younger children are welcome to attend with a parent.
-
Boys aged 7 and under are welcome
-
This space is an offering to mothers to receive care for their little ones so they can attend workshops, rest, receive or connect and learn, knowing your child is being held with reverence and care, joy and play.
-
Please note that children will be broght back to their mothers if they request.

Facilitators:
The Wildings space is lovingly held by a circle of 4 wise and experienced women, with backgrounds in nature connection, early childhood, and sacred play. The space will be supported by volunteers, ensuring at least 4 adults are present during every session. Our caretakers walk with respect, presence, and a deep commitment to child-led, earth-centered care.
Daily Rhythm:
The Wildings Space is open for two sessions daily:
-
Morning Session – 3 hours
-
Afternoon Session – 3 hours
Children may be dropped off for one or both sessions, and will always be brought back to their mother if they ask or need to return. We encourage mothers, especially of younger children, to be attuned to their little one’s capacity for separation in this communal setting.
This Wildlings Space is more than childcare, it is part of the living village. A sacred grove and a place where your child is seen, heard, and held.
